Recognition of the Courses :

B.C.A. Course is approved by UGC vide letter no. F4/140/2001 (Desk- VE) dated 23.07.01

 

College offers Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA) Course at Degree stage under Vocational Education Programme of  UGC.

Objective:

The increasing demand of Computer experts in big corporate houses & Multinational Companies/Industries etc. induced to start BCA Course in this College. Our main object is to bridge the gap between the job opportunities and availability of skilled personnel.

Number of Seats : Total number of seats available is 60 only.

Eligibility Criterion for admission to BCA :

The candidates must have passed Intermediate or 10+2 or its equivalent examination securing at least 45% marks in aggregate and Mathematics as one subject.

Admission and Selection Procedure:

Student will be admitted to BCA course on the basis of their performance in the written Test exam to be conducted by the college followed by interview.

Merit list for admission will be prepared on the basis of Test Score and Interview.

 Entrance Test Examination Plan (J.D.B.C.A.C.E. T.) :

(a)    Entrance Test will be held at only one place i.e. J.D. Women's College, Patna

      Centre.

(b)    Written Test will be completely on objective pattern containing questions

       on career aptitude, mental ability & mathematical ability.

Attendance Policy :

No student will be permitted to appear at the university examination unless she fulfils the condition of 75% attendance as per existing university rules.

Project Training :

Every BCA student is required to spend 30-45 days in an industry/organization for a project work under the guidance of supervisor.

Conduct of Examination :

(a) The examination shall be conducted by the Magadh University which shall also finalise the date of examination, centre for examination and necessary fee for its conduct.

( b) In order to pass the B.C.A. Examination, a candidate must have obtain not less than 45% marks in aggregate.
