       Information Technology is a broad subject concerned with all aspects of managing and processing information, especially within a largeorganization or a company. For an organization toimprove its business processes using technology, an IT

department is mandatory for the management and the support of

 the infrastructure. An IT department also provides a business lower costs, higher productivity and higher efficiency by :

·        Minimizing over 85% of downtime

·        Technology Planning

·        Providing a single point of contact for technology issues

Information Technology is a critical part of the business process that can require technical competence beyond the scope of the current management giving rise to new concepts of outsourcing of business.

The burgeoning with growth in business and industry caused by growth of internet has made information technology an essential ingredient of success for an enterprise in any sector of business and industry. With this aim in mind our course provides a solid foundation in principles and practices of information technology, thereby meeting ever changing technological and industrial needs of today. We also focus on enhancing students critical, analytical and problem-solving abilities to design and develop the system and application needed in the fields of information and communication technology.

Our curriculum also aims to bridge the gap between the industry and the academics. The programme emphasizes on sound theoretical knowledge as well as extensive practical training in order to keep students as well as faculties abreast with state-of-art technology. Seminars, workshops, corporate interactions are organized regularly to enhance and supplement the knowledge base of the students.
